All workshops are £25 per person. 

Fire Cider Making - Thursday 9th October 7 - 8.30pm 
Learn how to make Fire Cider - a warming and immune-supporting herbal preparation great for the
cold season. Learn the history of Fire Cider and some basic principles of making herbal medicine. This will be followed by a hands-on workshop where we will make our own Fire Cider to take home whilst discussing the medicinal properties of each ingredient. Bring your own jar - other materials included. 

Deep Dive into Lavender & Rose - Friday 24th October, 7 - 8.30pm
Come and dive deep into these well-known plants Lavender and Rose... We will be focusing on how these plants might help us medicinally as well as their histories and folklore.  There will be the opportunity to taste different preparations such as teas, syrups, tinctures and aromatic waters. There will be time for some quiet reflection as well as discussion (do bring a notebook). We will also learn how to make some relaxing massage oil and have some to take home, ready for a cozy winter!

Kitchen Herbalism for Winter - Thursday 13th November 7 - 8.30pm
Our kitchen cupboards are packed with herbal helpers! Come and learn some of the applications of
some common spices through an experiential workshop. Together we will prepare and try three
different preparations, whilst learning about their medicinal properties and how they can help us in
the cold, dark and damp times. 

Herbals for Self-Care - Thursday 20th November, 7 - 8.30pm
This can be a full-on time of year and it can be hard to slow down when we need it most. Let’s
learn about some herbs who can support us to change down some gears and relax. There will
be different preparations to taste and try, as well as time for reflection and discussion. Bring
your notebook!

Ash and Kerri are available to lead more herbal foraging walks for groups or individuals in Calderdale and further afield. We also enjoy giving talks or workshops on any aspect of herbal medicine from local medicinal plants, herbal history and traditions to the latest science and new applications of research into herbs. Please get in touch to book.
